What we collect
If you sign up for email: your email address, time zone, chosen send time, confirmation that you are 18 or older, and any optional consent you tick (news or a waitlist). Those boxes are never ticked for you. With each consent we keep the wording you saw and a one-way scrambled form of your IP address.
If you write to us: whatever you send to [email protected] or through the contact form. Contact form messages are emailed to us and not stored on the site.
What we do not collect
In this version we do not take payments, offer chat, personalize devotionals, run advertising pixels or build advertising audiences. If that changes, this policy will change first.
How we use it
To send the email you asked for at the time you chose, to honor unsubscribes and consent choices, to keep the forms free of bots, and to keep the site running.
Email tracking
Our email provider, Brevo, records whether an email was delivered and opened and which links were clicked. We use those totals to see whether the email is useful and reaching people.
Analytics
We use Plausible for site statistics. It does not use cookies and does not identify you across sites, so no cookie banner is needed.
Companies that help us
Liquid Web hosts the site. Cloudflare provides DNS, content delivery and bot protection (Turnstile). Brevo sends our email. Plausible counts visits. Zoho hosts the [email protected] mailbox. Anthropic's Claude helps draft reflections and sermons; we call it from our servers and never send it your email address or other personal information. Each company processes data under its own terms. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
Your subscriber record lasts until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe we keep only what we need to make sure we do not email you again. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after about a week. Consent records are kept as long as we need to show what you agreed to.
Your choices
Change your send time or unsubscribe from the links in any email. Write to [email protected] to ask for a copy of your data or to have it deleted. If your state's law gives you more rights, we will honor them.
Children
Tabernook is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
